The Laboratory of Genomics and Molecular Biomedicine (GMB) is part of the Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen. GMB offers leading know-how and experimental set-ups inside the field of metabolism.

 

This includes rodent models, cellular and molecular biology, as well as genomics and bioinformatics. GMB is jointly directed by Prof. Jun Wang and Prof. and Head of Department Karsten Kristiansen together representing over 50 years of research experience and a range of high level publications. Besides representing a profound biological knowledge-base, GMB is well-equipped with state of the art instrumentation for high-content and medium through-put RNA, DNA, protein and cell culture-based screening methods, as well as a competitive and high through-put platform for genomics and bioinformatics.
