Encapson B.V.

Encapson B.V. is a contract research organization with a focus on encapsulation using polymer microspheres. We help customers to encapsulate their material inside microspheres and built in the features they want, like (delayed/controlled) release, increased stability and degradation.
Due to our long experience in synthesizing polymers we are capable to tune the properties of the microspheres to fulfill the wishes of the customer. A wide range of compounds can be encapsulated, like drugs, catalysts, oils, fragrances, dyes, etc. The microspheres can be made from various materials, such as degradable polymers. The characterization and testing of the microspheres is done in house with a range of techniques. We have optical and electron microscopes at our disposal, as well as several spectrometers (NMR, UV- Vis, fluorescence).
