Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour is a leading research institute of the Radboud University Nijmegen. Its research encompasses cognitive neuroscience in the broadest sense around the research themes:
(1) Language and Communication
(2) Perception, Action and Control
(3) Learning, Memory and Plasticity
(4) Brain Networks and Neuronal Communication
The Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour houses various facilities covering neurocognition research from molecule to man like MRI, EEG, MEG, EMG, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS), muscle ultrasound setups, as well as advanced laboratory facilitities like morphology, electron microscopy, cell physiology, electrophysiology, pharmacology, isotopes and molecular biology such as quantitative PCR, proteomics facilities, Xenopus transgenesis facility, cell-tissue culture and animal models. Conditions for use and prices are available on request. It also houses an Innovation Lab for innovative spin offs working in the neurocognition research field.
