CeGaT GmbH

The CeGaT GmbH, Center for Genomics and Transcriptomics, was founded in 2009. The main focus of our work are genes, carriers of genetic information. Every human being has genes, every animal, every plant, and all microorganisms such as bacteria, fungus, algae, and viruses. Even though genes are the basis of life, mutations within genes can also cause severe illnesses.

The services of CeGaT GmbH comprise the sequencing of DNA and RNA of humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms. We are using the latest available technologies and apply both conventional Sanger-Sequencing and Next-Generation-Sequencing. Depending on the particular project, we decipher DNA and RNA, genes, exomes, transcriptomes, or complete genomes. If required, an interpretation of the results and complete bioinformatic analysis can be provided. Thus CeGaT GmbH is a service provider for medical doctors, researchers, clinics, as well as private persons.
