The unique selling proposition of Anoxymer´s botanical extracts consists of scientifically-proven and standardized extracts from edible plants which are safe and effective for the prevention of different disorders in humans and animals. Based on these botanical health ingredients, Anoxymer and his partners develop dietary supplements, functional drinks/food, medical food and cosmetics for different use like in joint health, digestive health, weight management, men´s health, mental performance and beauty from inside. Anoxymer does not have own production facilities and produces his products by third parties. Anoxymer is bio-certified and able to deal with organic grown raw materials like teas, herbs and fruits.

Anoxymer´s business model is based on sales and marketing of own developed natural products as well as products from partnering companies. The Company´s objective is to grow the worldwide nutraceutical (dietary supplements, functional food and drinks) and cosmeceutical (bioactive cosmetic ingredients, beauty from inside) business through sales of standardized botanical extracts and outlicensing proprietary technology based on its broad patent portfolio.

In order to successfully execute the above strategy, the founders and share holders of Anoxymer combine their profound background and skills from the international agro, food and pharmaceutical industry as well as from academic research to form a qualified management team.

Research & Development

A key department within Anoxymer is the R&D department with know how in analytical chemistry with a special focus on oligosaccharides, bioassay-guided isolation of natural compounds and its pharmacology, ethnobotanical use of plants from Europe, South America and India.

Clinical trials are a further key element to show efficacy of the standardized extracts in humans.

Products

Anoxymer´s products range from plant extracts to teas and herbs for various human health applications.

All plant extracts are biologically and chemically standardized with a scientifically-proven efficacy profile which includes human intervention studies. Due to the fact that Anoxymer uses a water/ethanol-mixture with less then 30% of ethanol (or 100% water) during the extraction process the obtained extracts are completely water-soluble without opalescence.

Business Model

Anoxymer´s business model is based on two strategies: development and marketing of natural products for the prevention and treatment of inflammation and metabolic diseases. Natural products may have applications in supplements and foods intended to promote health and reduce the risk of disease (prevention), as well as in pharmaceuticals for treatment and cure.

The Company´s objective is to grow the nutraceutical business through sales of standardized botanical extracts and outlicensing proprietary technology. By generating revenues through the nutraceutical business Anoxymer pretends to use these revenues as a financial source to fund pharmaceutical R&D. At this point single pure compounds from special botanical extracts may enter preclinical phase and could be outlicensed after phase I or II to a pharmaceutical partner or licensee to take the compound to phase III and commercialization. As this development reaches maturity, Anoxymer may look to refocus by selling off its nutraceutical business and provide funding for ongoing pharma activities.
