€216.000 awarded to innovation projects
36 SMEs in human life sciences and medical technology will be rewarded with a FASILIS voucher worth €6.000. A FASILIS voucher enables companies to execute a short innovation project at a state of the art facility (i.e. a laboratory or test equipment) in another European region that would normally be closed to them.
FASILIS aims to create an innovation space without boundaries across North West Europe and actively connects life sciences SMEs with top quality R&D facilities across a number of leading European life sciences clusters. The first call for voucher projects closed on May 21 2010, the second call is still open for a number of good innovation ideas. This call will close June 30 2010.
FASILIS is co-funded by the Interreg 4B programme for North West Europe which supports transnational cooperation.
SMEs interested in a FASILIS voucher can contact their Regional Contact Point or check the FASILIS database with 95 leading R&D facilities in North West Europe.

Diagenode, Progenosis and BioXpr are three of the Walloon SMEs awarded with a voucher.
